Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup: Stolz/Buurman/Engel vencem em Barcelona

O trio Luca Stolz/Yelmer Buurman/Maro Engel (Mercedes AMG GT3/BlackFalcon) venceu neste domingo (30/09) no Circuito de Barcelona, na Espanha, a última etapa do Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup.

Saindo da pole-position o trio do Mercedes AMG GT3 #4 dominou a prova. Na parte final sucessivos perÁ­odos em Safety-Car juntaram os carros. O que não atrapalhou Stolz/Buurman/Engel, que venceram com 1s733 de vantagem sobre o trio Tristan Vautier/Daniel Juncadella/Raffaele Marciello (Mercedes AMG GT3/ AKKA).

O trio Davide Rigon/Mikhail Aleshin/Miguel olina (Ferrari 488 GT3/SMP Racing) completou o pódio no geral, e na classe Pro.

O trio Alex Fontana/Adrian Zaugg/Mikael Grenier (Emil Frey Jaguar Racing/Emil Frey G3 Jaguar) terminou em quarto, sendo vencedor na Silver Cup.

O brasileiro Felipe Fraga (Strakka Racing/Mercedes-AMG GT3), em trio com o alemão Christian Vietoris e o britânico Oliver Rowland, terminou na sétima posição geral, e sexta na classe Pro.

O trio Giuseppe Cipriani/Miguel Ramos/Fabrizio Crestani (Daiko Lazarus Racing/ Lamborghini Huracan GT3) venceu na classe Pro Am.

A Mercedes-AMG Team Black Falcon conquistou o tÁ­tulo entre as equipes.

Marciello conquistou o tÁ­tulo geral do Blancpain GT Series.

Black Falcon desclassificada

Na vistoria técnica pós-prova o Mercedes #4 da Black Falcon foi desclassificado, devido uma irregularidade técnica (uma fita adesiva foi encontrada na entrada do motor do carro), infringindo dois artigos do regulamento técnico da categoria. Mesmo sem a fita presentar ganho de desempenho, o uso está fora das regras. A Black Falcon anunciou que irá recorrer.

Com isso Buurman/Engel/Stoltz perderam o tÁ­tulo do Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. Marciello, já campeão da série Sprnt e no geral, também ficou com o tÁ­tulo do Endurance (sub-judice).

No inÁ­cio de novembro a Corte de Apelação do RACB Sport National anulou a punição da Mercedes AMG GT3 #4 da Black Falcon. Confirmando a vitória de Stolz/Buurman/Engel.

A equipe foi punida com uma multa de €5,000.

Stolz/Buurman/Engel foram declarados campeões da temporada com 73 pontos. Marciello foi o vice com 66.
