O japonês Nobuharu Matsushita completa a dobradinha da ART GP na primeira fila. O francês Pierre Gasly (DAMS) divide a segunda fila com o russo Sergey Sirotkin (Rapax).
O indonésio Rio Haryanto (Campos Racing) forma a terceira fila com o italiano Raffaele Marciello (Trident).
O brasileiro André Negrão (Arden International) alinha apenas na 21ª posição.
