24 Horas de Daytona: Confira o grid para a prova de abertura do WeatherTech SportsCar Championship

A temporada 2018 do WeatherTech SportsCar Championship começa amanhã (27/01), com a tradicional 24 Horas de Daytona.

A pole-position para a prova ficou com o trio Renger Van Der Zande/Jordan Taylor/Ryan Hunter-Reay, no Cadillac DPi-V.R #10 da Wayne Taylor Racing. O holandês Van der Zande foi o responsável pelo tempo da pole, 1m36s083.

O trio Ricky Taylor/Hélio Castroneves/Graham Rahal, no Acura ARX-05 #7 do Team Penske, completa a primeira fila.

Além de Castroneves, mais sete brasileiros disputam a prova:

Christian Fittipaldi (Cadillac DPi Action Express Racing) em terceiro no grid (Classe Prototype)

Felipe Nasr (Cadillac DPi Action Express Racing) em sétimo (Classe Prototype)

Bruno Senna (Ligier LMP2/United Autosports) em 15 º (Classe Prototype)

Pipo Derani (Nissan DPi/ ESM) em 18º (Classe Prototype)

Augusto Farfus (BMW M8 GTLM) – Rahal) em 29º (nono na Classe GTLM)

A prova terá sua largada neste sábado (dia 27), a partir das 17h40 de BrasÁ­lia (14h40 local). Nesta sexta (26), os pilotos ainda participam de mais um treino livre. Cinquenta carros estão inscritos na disputa, divididos nas categorias Protótipo, GT Le Mans e GT Daytona. O Fox Sports 2 transmitirá a largada e chegada ao vivo para o Brasil, bem como algumas janelas da disputa (sábado das 19h30 Á s 23 horas e domingo das 11 Á s 13h30).
