Blancpain Sprint Series: WRT e Garage 59 vencem em Nurburgring

As duplas Enzo Ide/Christopher Mies (Audi R8 LMS/WRT) e Rob Bell/Álvaro Parente (McLaren 650 S/Garage 59) foram os vencedores da terceira etapa da temporada, disputada no circuito de Nürburgring, na Alemanha.

Ide/Mies venceram no sábado (02/07), a prova classificatória, com apenas 0s304 de vantagem sobre Bell/Parente. Garantindo a pole para a prova principal. A dupla Will Stevens/René Rast (Audi R8 LMS/WRT) terminou em terceiro.

A dupla Marlon Stockinger/Franck Perera (Audi R8 LMS/ISR) terminou em quarto, seguida pela dupla Dries Vanthoor/Nico Mueller (Audi R8 LMS/WRT).

Os brasileiros, Rodrigo Baptista/Sergio Jimenez (Audi R8 LMS/WRT), terminaram na 13ª posição.

No domingo (03/07), Bell/Parente venceram a prova principal. Com Stevens/Rast em segundo, e a dupla Jules Szymkowiak/Bernd Schneider (Mercedes AMG/HTP) completando o pódio.

Ide/Mies terminaram em quarto, com a dupla Norbert Siedler/Marco Seefried (Ferrari 458/Rinaldi) em quinto.

Baptista/Jimenez terminaram na 11ª posição.
 
Bell/Parente lideram o campeonato com 56 pontos, três a mais do que Ide/Mies. Szymkowiak-Schneider, em terceiro, somam 47.

A próxima etapa acontece em Hungaroring, na Hungria, no dia 28 de agosto.
